Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows release party

Calling all Harry Potter fans! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 comes out November 19th and we're celebrating with a huge costume party at the University of Utah. We'll have food (Harry Potter themed, of course), games, prizes, music, a raffle, a costume contest, and a screening of the 6th movie on the massive projector screen in the Olpin Union Ballroom. Kids are welcome-we'll have special game booths geared towards kids set up until 9:00! Entrance fee is $5 and includes a meal ticket. Proceeds will benefit the Hunstman Cancer Institute Presented by the Salt Lake City Harry Potter Alliance

Quidditch Planning Summit

All Utah Quidditch Players, Fans, Team Captains, UQO Officials, and anyone looking to be apart of Quidditch in the future, are all invited to join us for a planning summit at Judge Memorial High School on Saturday, November 6th at 1:00 PM. Out of state officials (Such as members of the International Quidditch Association) are also welcome to join via video conference, and/or provide us with some matters to go over. Our sponsors a...nd affiliate organizations are also welcome to be apart of this event if they would like. At this meeting, we will cover different matters of business and plan the dates and places of future events. Some things we will go over will include: - The planning a Possible Winter Season - The best companies to help us create jerseys for different teams - Where to find the best deal on equipment - Plans for future out-of-state tournaments - Schools where we can focus our efforts to help them build their teams - Our Sponsors and budget - Creating a Calendar for the next few month's worth of events - and so forth... The room number will be given closer to the event. See you there!
